Babs Gray
Big hair. Big heart. Big mouth. Barbara's goofy stage presence and vulnerably dark material have made her a staple in the Los Angeles alternative comedy scene. She co-starred in seasons one and two of "Corporate" on Comedy Central, and has written for multiple seasons of the hit show "Billy on the Street" as well as "Magic for Humans with Justin Willman" on Netflix and "Rachel Dratch's Late Night Snack" on TruTV. Her standup has been featured on Hulu's "Coming to the Stage" and Comedy Central's "Standup Featuring" series. She's appeared in many Comedy Central digital shows, including hosting and writing Lady to Lady's Snapchat series "Would You Rather."
"Lady to Lady" is a hit podcast and live talk show co-hosted by Babs, recently surpassing 8 million downloads from listeners all over the world. Described as "best adult sleepover you'll ever have" by Entertainment Weekly, the ladies host an unfiltered hour of pop culture discussions, embarrassing personal revelations, and questionable advice. Her other podcast, "Britney's Gram‚" went from a fun look into Britney Spears' instagram feed, to a true-crime-in-real-time viral hit with their episode #FreeBritney, setting off an international movement to free Britney from the conservatorship she's been placed under for over a decade. Yes. This really happened. She was featured on the documentary "Framing Britney Spears" and her investigative podcast "Toxic: The Britney Spears Story" was a critical hit.
Her first standup album "If I Did It‚" is now available A Special Thing records. For tour dates and more, check out @BabsGray on twitter or go to www.myjokesareuphere.com.
