Ben Fong-Torres
Ben Fong-Torres is known primarily as an editor and writer at Rolling Stone, and was depicted as such in the movie "Almost Famous." But his interview subjects have also included Robin Williams, Steve Martin, Cheech & Chong, Billy Crystal, Ellen DeGeneres, Sam Kinison, Steve Allen, Martin Mull, Paula Poundstone and, at SF Sketchfest, Paul Reubens and Margaret Cho.
While at Rolling Stone, he also was a weekend DJ at free-form KSAN and continues in broadcasting as a DJ and program director (Moonalice Radio) and Emmy-collecting Chinese New Year Parade co-anchor. He is also a columnist (The Chronicle), author (ten books), singer (mostly Elvis) and subject of an upcoming documentary.
