Yamini Nambimadom
Yamini Nambimadom is a comedian, writer, and performer from Southern California. She began her comedy career at fourteen, doing improv with the ComedySportz LA High School League. In college, she wrote & performed sketch and improv with Off Off Campus at the University of Chicago, one of the oldest collegiate comedy troupes in the country, with close ties to Second City. While attending college in Chicago, Yamini studied at the Second City and began performing stand-up at various venues around the city. Upon graduation, a global pandemic propelled her into the digital comedy space, where she has now created countless front-facing comedy videos and curated a strong brand of politically charged, sexual, empowering humor. Her videos showcase characters like Tomi Lahren, bad therapists, shitty white guys, and more. In 2020, Yamini launched her podcast, "Pillow Fight," with the aim of fostering more accessible conversations about culture and politics through the perspective of best friends gossiping at a slumber party. She is currently writing for several projects in development, as well as performing at venues across LA and the internet.
